Fishing tackle supplied on inshore saltwater flats fishing trips

Serious flats fishing anglers are often curious about what type of tackle is supplied on my fishing charters. I believe having quality equipment makes the fishing experience more enjoyable and results in more fish being caught. You will never find poorly maintained, cheap, or corroded equipment on my boat. Below is a description of the tackle I use. You can find Many of these products in my Amazon Store

FLats Fishing Rods

For my light tackle sight fishing charters, I supply medium light spinning rods from Falcon and Daiwa. These rods are lightweight and are soft enough to cast light lures long distances yet strong enough to handle fish over 20 pounds. I also carry heavier spinning rods to use when specifically targeting large fish and when fishing with natural baits.

Saltwater Spinning Reels

My flats fishing rods are paired with Florida Fishing Products Osprey and Resolute reels. Each reel is fully spooled with appropriately sized braided fishing line. These reels are in like new condition. You will not find any squeaky, grinding, or half spooled reels on my charters.

Artificial Lures

On your sight fishing trip, you will be supplied with a variety of DOA fishing lures. From the popular and original 3" shrimp, to the CAL series, there are a wide range of styles and color available on the boat at all times.

Fly Fishing Tackle

I supply 5, 7,or 9 weight flyrods from Sage and TFO for all fly fishing trips when requested. The rods are paired with Sage, Greys, and Reddington reels along with Rio flylines. All flies are included in the cost of the fishing charter.
